There are SO many things in life to be thankful for:

Waking up today
Lots of people never see tomorrow. Waking up is awesome!

Nourishment
I have never missed a meal. And these days, most of what I eat is delicious and nutritious.

Good health
Most of the time I live pain free and have lots of energy.

Air travel
It boggles the mind that we can fly over 500 miles an hour – anywhere in the world.

Money in the bank
Even if I have just a few coins in my pocket, I am richer than most people on the planet.

Richer than we think
We Americans are ridiculously rich.

In fact, if we earn at least $10,000 a year, we are in the top 13% of the world’s richest people.

If we earn more than $50,000, we are in the top 0.98%.

Debt free
Not owing money is dreamy.

Paid bills on time
I get a buzz when my bills’ holder is completely empty.

People I can count on
Whenever things get a little out of control, I can tap into my network to help me out.

Protection from the elements
Every day of my life, I have had a roof over my head and walls to shield me from danger.

Freedom of speech
I am still free to express (almost) anything I want without penalty here in the USA.

Companionship
There is nothing better than getting a long, tight hug from a friend.

Blogs
To help us connect with like-minded authors.

Pets
A silent friend that is always there for us.

Mistakes
We made hundreds… maybe even thousands of bad decisions.

And we lived to tell about it.

Christmas season
No matter what religion we believe in, nothin’ beats the sights and sounds of this wintertime holiday.

Being able to think and ask tough questions helps us make better decisions.

Whether it is praise or hate, getting people to react to our thoughts is beyond astonishing.

Life’s antidote for living in a noisy world.

Life would be a boring place if we all look and act the same.

For letting us see the colors of life.

To let us hear trickles of rain, the voices of our loved ones and the harmonious chords of music.

Sense of touch
For letting us feel our furry friends, the breeze of the wind or the hands of our loved ones.

To let us smell fresh baked apple pie, the salty beach air and beautiful flowers in our garden.
