truth about salt

The truth about salt – is it good or bad for our health?

It is the dirty, four-letter “s” word that no one likes to talk about… salt.

The medical industry brainwashes us.

They say salt is one of the worst minerals on the planet.

Doctors and experts tell us too much salt is a surefire path to sickness.

They say salt causes heart disease, kidney disease, headaches – even premature death.

But I found out the hard way that too little salt makes us sick!

So I invested over 270 straight days experimenting with the right amount of the right salt.

And the reality is mineral salt is awesome in almost every way.

But first, I wanna talk about weird doctor shenanigans…

Introducing the #1 medical procedure in hospitals around the world

The medical community says salt is bad for us.

But doctors pump us with a salt solution as soon as we enter the emergency room:

saline drip

The most common hospital medical procedure is a saline drip.

Yes, a bag of salt water shot into our body brings us back to life.

The fact is salt is good for us.

More than 95% of people on earth can digest as much as they desire without any harmful effects.

In fact, ingesting more than the recommended amount of salt often eliminates our ills.

Yep, salt is good for us.

It is a must have in our body to reach peak performance.

So why is there this big war on salt?

The answer to this common question is simple:

When we digest the right amount (and right type) of salt, we do not get sick.

Yes, the medical industry suppresses the benefits of a high-salt diet…

And the same doctors we hope to help us are actually harming us.

Salt and the appeal to authority

Our entire education system trains us to worship doctors.

They tell us doctors can do no wrong.

TV shows portray doctors as gods who perform daily miracles.

Yet year after year, doctor mistakes are the third-leading cause of deaths here in the United States.

And prescription-drug side effects are the number one killer.

Introducing the REAL reasons doctors lie to us

It is easy to be suspicious of doctor’s advice to lower our salt intake.
Because when we are healthy, doctors cannot make money on us…

They cannot charge us for office visits, prescription drugs, surgeries, medical devices and/or followup visits.

The bottom line is the multi-hundred-billion dollar medical industry is tricking us to lower our salt intake for their gain.

Lowering our salt intake puts an obscene amount of money into a doctor’s bank account.

The WHOPPER of a lie (revealed)

Doctors tell us salt leads to various, painful medical conditions like:

  • Hypertension (high-blood pressure)
  • Kidney failure
  • Diabetes
  • Heart failure
  • Stomach cancer
  • Stroke
  • Bone loss
  • Headaches

But there is not a single, scientific study to confirm this.

Not a one.

The medical industry always points to one study called Intersalt.

This was a large study published in 1988.

It compared sodium intake with blood pressure in people from 52 international research centers…

Yet the study found no relationship between sodium intake and the prevalence of high blood pressure (i.e. hypertension).

In fact, it found the population that ate the most salt had a lower median blood pressure than the population that ate the least!

When it comes to salt, they tell us one lie after another lie.

Because ingesting the right salt helps us survive… even thrive in our toxic world.

Here are the benefits of ingesting more salt in our diet…

live longest Japan

Those who ingest the right salt live the longest

On average, people living in Japan live longer than any other people around the world.

And get this: they ingest more than three times more salt than we do here in the States.

Salt has little to do with high-blood pressure

Once again, the medical industry is lying to us…

There is no scientific evidence proving salt leads to hypertension. (Populations with low calcium intakes have high rates of high blood pressure.)

On the flip side, many studies show lowering our salt intake leads to numerous health problems.

Salt improves insulin sensitivity

When we lower our salt intake, our body increases its insulin resistance.

Not good.

Salt blocks allergies

Salt is a natural antihistamine.

A pinch of salt sprinkled on the tongue may help improve an allergic reaction or an asthma attack.

Our body needs salt to maintain the proper stomach pH

More than 9 out of every 10 Americans have an improper stomach acid level – between a pH of 3 and 4…

To digest food properly, we need a pH of 1…

Ingesting salt is all we need to produce the right type of stomach acid.

Salt lowers adrenaline spikes

Adrenaline is a necessary and important stress hormone…

But when adrenaline patterns are out of rhythm, it takes a toll on the body – especially while we sleep.

If you find yourself waking up between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m., you are probably experiencing adrenaline spikes…

Just add a sprinkle of the right type of salt on your tongue to even out those early-morning spikes.

My 270-day experiment just ended. Here is what I discovered…

We can continue doing nothing and get sicker, fatter and closer to death.

Or we can ignore the gurus and experts and take control of our own health.

I increased my salt intake (while I carefully monitored my results).

I purchased different types of salt and carefully tested each out a few weeks at a time…

Surprisingly, pink Himalayan salt (which was amongst the most expensive) actually made me sick.

Sea salt had little effect.

I found one type of salt that was just right (more on this below).

And as a result of ingesting the right salt, I have seen the following benefits:

My adult acne is (almost) gone

Before ingesting the right amount of salt, my body was littered with itchy acne from head to toe.

No one could explain it.

But today, I am virtually acne free. (I still have one tiny, stubborn blemish near my ankle).

Tap into a new-found, natural energy source

I am physically active.

But I hated working out, because I always felt sluggish.

I too experienced the 2 p.m. crash each day.

But these days, I have the energy of a teenager.

At least four times weekly, I power walk and run wind sprints on a nearby walking trail.

I walk and sprint 90+ minutes each time.

I run faster than most people half my age.

Instead of crashing on my couch after I finish, I feel totally alive.

And I never get thirsty during my workouts, either.

I fit into my skinny jeans

I am back into the same pant size I was in 25 years ago.

I gave away all of my oversized clothing.

And people smile at me like they did when I went to college.

I no longer snore

This is one of the best-hidden benefits of ingesting more salt…

Salt has antihistamine properties.

Salt blocks allergies from forming.

I have had allergies all my life.

They prevented me from doing anything outside…

But these days, I feel like a totally new person.

I am outside all the time.

I hike several miles at a time without a sniffle.

But here is the best part…

Salt eliminates the mucous in our nasal cavity that causes snoring.

And these days, I sleep like a baby.

Less stress

Salt levels out hormone imbalances.

No more depressing lows (or false highs).

I feel super steady, confident and strong.

It just plain works

Every week or so, I get unsolicited feedback about the wonders of salt for better health.

I just got this:

Hi, I also decided to replace the table salt. In my case I am using Himalayan salt and I also noticed many positive changes, such as, my heart burns disappeared, my unexplained IBS is gone, my level of energy rose.
