What supplements should we take to help us get healthy?

According to Scientific American, today’s fruits and vegetables have become less nutritious.

Today’s carrot has less nutrition in it compared to the same carrot grown just a couple of decades ago.

That is because today’s farmers are under great financial pressure to take shortcuts. They use modern, intensive agricultural methods. And this strips away the nutrients in their soil.

As a result, the nutrient data of 12 sampled fresh vegetables found this astonishing depletion in just 22 years:

– calcium levels dropped 27%…
– iron levels dropped 37%…
– vitamin A levels dropped 21%…
– vitamin C levels dropped 30%.

Natural health pied pipers warn us to use supplements to replace lost nutrition.

But are supplements safe and effective?
